We can’t be sure

But we think this leather skirt might have belonged to my friend’s grade five teacher in ’86.

We can be sure where the shirt came from, though. It was my husband’s up until the drycleaner shrunk the sleeves.

Three trips to the beach

And still the baby beast prefers dry land.

Spent the whole weekend by the water and Leroy barely dipped his toes in the surf. This photo makes me smile, though. Partly because he looks so thrilled to be leaving the beach and partly because my city looks so pretty in the background.

This dress was ridiculous

It reached the floor and the overlay flapped around wildly with every move I made.

It seems so much subtler now that I’ve had it shortened. And with the belt, the overlay is much less unruly.

Had some friends over to meet Leroy this afternoon. Served them my favourite living room picnic (while the little beast dined on kibble).
